WHO ARE YOU EATING TODAY? a Vegan Campaign

Advertisement bill provoked havoc on a national scale in Italy as activists had a giant print of it posted along busy town centers in Torino, Pordenone and Grosseto.
This Campaign elicited a great amount of support among the Vegan community and the more liberal section of the population as well as strong opposition by the Italian authorities whom attempted to have the posters removed from sight.

Florence, March 1 – Tuscany’s guarantor for minors on Friday said she would file a report to the local prosecutor’s office against pro-vegan posters along the seaside featuring a dismembered doll in vacuum packaging. The poster “not only offends the common sense of decency” but it also “clearly violates human rights since, while featuring a doll, and therefore a fictitious object, it is so realistic that it can generate confusion,” Grazia Sestini explained. The poster, appearing under the title “Who are you eating today?” is sponsored by Campagne per Gli Animali, a voluntary organisation working to promote veganism in Italy through nationwide events and advertising campaigns.
